So, aside from a new name, what else can you expect from EAC?
With sites across LA, San Francisco, San Diego, Boston, Denver, New York, Chicago, and more to come, we couldn’t be more excited to officially ring in the era of the Electric Athletic Club. This isn’t your grandfather’s athletic club and it won’t take long to see what we’re all about—motivated, active, innovative young professionals with a love for community and strong neon vibes.
Welcome to the Club,
Josh + Dan

"Then there are social fitness groups like Electric Flight Crew that offer a boozy “no shower happy hour” after an hour of cardio or running. They limit groups to 50 so that members, mostly young professionals, can build meaningful relationships."
]]>Let’s face it — working out is always more fun with friends. You push harder, you laugh more, and the time flies by faster. And while you and a friend can easily sign up for a fitness class at any studio in LA, that doesn’t always have the personal connection you might be looking for. That’s where a group like Electric Flight Crew comes in — part run club, part social organization, and a whole lot of good times.
]]>And, ultimately, that’s what EFC is all about: creating a vibe that connects its members on the roads, in fitness studios, and over post-workout drinks.
The five-city (and growing) fitness group logs miles, yes, but also spins, squats, and does sun salutations together. Mixing up how they work out makes their bodies balanced and strong and keep things fresh and fun. ]]>The no-shower happy hour is just one of the draws of the exclusive Westside fitness social club Electric Flight Crew, started three years ago by Jonathan Patton and Josh Goldman. The group of 25- to 35-year-old professionals and entrepreneurs attends special weekly runs, sprint training and circuit-training workouts in locations from Redondo Beach to Santa Monica to West Hollywood. The workouts average 40 to 60 people per location and are typically followed by socializing at a local restaurant or monthly “residency.” There’s also a couple of group meetups each month at boutique fitness studios such as Orangetheory or Barry’s Bootcamp to complement the running. You do have to apply to join and pay a $40 monthly membership fee, but Patton says that no one has yet been turned away.

]]>If you're a fan of our Racked Fit Club and often toast your achievements with a festive cocktail, you're going to love this. Electric Flight Crew is a group founded by two super-successful dudes—Josh Goldman and Jonathan Patton—that gets together weekly to take in a fitness session, followed by post-workout spirits. (They call this their "No Shower Happy Hour.")
