Electric Athletic Club Leadership Team

Our Electric Team

Josh Goldman, MD, MBA // Co-Founder // CEO + Partnerships

Josh is a longtime athlete and Sports Medicine physician at UCLA.  Beginning with his track & field days in high school, running has consistently been a part of his life.  He founded EAC with his two closest college friends to create a meaningful community around the sport in the empty space most of us experience post-college.

Outside of running, he spends most of his time on campus at UCLA treating patients and athletes alike.  He completed his fellowship training in Sports Medicine and residency training in Family Medicine at the UCLA. He attended graduate school at the University of Southern California, completing his Medical Degree concurrent with his Master of Business Administration.

Josh is currently the Team Physician for the UCLA Football, Men’s Soccer, and Women’s Beach Volleyball teams. He previously served as team physician for a number of UCLA Athletics teams and numerous high schools in the Los Angeles area. He worked as a volunteer physician at the United States Olympic Training Center, USA Hockey, and the AVP Tour. His areas of research include sport-related concussion, training load and injury, sleep & sports performance, distance running, and pediatric sports medicine.

For all partnership-related inquiries, please reach out to Josh.

Jen Galvin // Director of Music

Born and raised in the Napa Valley, Jen was active from a very young age running track & field from kindergarten through high school, competing in sprints, hurdles, long jump, high jump and anchoring the relays. (All while listening to Tupac, Biggie, Snoop Dog, and TLC).

After moving across the country not once, but twice, from San Diego to NYC to SF pursuing a degree in fashion design, Jen graduated from FIDM in SF. She is currently living in Santa Monica working in design for a swimwear company.

When Jen is not running the streets of Santa Monica, Venice, and West Hollywood, she is creating international DJ-caliber playlists for EAC, drinking wine, going to concerts, hiking, or throwing a football at the beach.

Jen has always felt music should be at the center of our lives; it sets the tone, gives you all the feels, and forms lasting memories. For Jen, EAC is about the memories made with epic people in amazing places!
